in 1976 under the name B. T. Church Transport, Specialising in Light Haulage of
Goods Around the UK. The Company Then Evolved to Include the Specialist
Distribution of Furniture. o
In 1978, Mr. P. S. Page
Joined the Company as Equal Partner, and Being a Fully Qualified Vehicle
Technician, the Company Diversified into Fleet Maintenance of Vehicles. This
Business Area Expanded Rapidly and became the Companies Sole Interest as the
Distribution Area Declined. o
In 1979, The Company
Began Working With the Police for the Recovery of Accident Damaged Vehicles. o
In 1984, B. T. Transport
Incorporated Itself and the Name Changed to Bridge Mills Service Centre Ltd. o
In 1986, the Company
Moved Into Larger Premises Reflecting the Demand for its Services. o
In1990, The Company Once
Again Acquired Larger Premises to Accommodate a Tachograph Calibration Workshop.
A Speed Limiter Fitting Service was also Offered in the Same Year. o
In 1991, The Company
Moved all its Services to one Location. o
In 1992, The Company
Sold its old Premises along with the Vehicle Recovery Operation to Focus Its
Activities on Tachograph Services o
In 2003, An Extra
Service was Developed Undertaking Tachograph Disc Analysis. o Bridge Mills is Also a Member of the R.M.I.F (Retail Motor Industry Federation) & is Inspected and Audited by V.O.S.A (Vehicle Operator Services Agency). |
